We believe that all children should have the opportunity to participate in the learning process and gain maximum chances to benefit from education opportunities. We want to see all looked after children get a chance to make the most of their talents and potential. We are totally committed to lifelong learning.
Our concept is that of a mobile school, we bring education to you. Our purpose is to promote mobile education to students without access to mainstream education. Our preference is to provide for students in a residential setting as we like to start from a premise of co-operation. We believe it is essential to see pupils in their ‘home’ environment initially, and establish firm foundations and build positive relationships in a familiar setting.
Delivering the curriculum in the students normal environment re-enforces the link between home and school which is necessary to promote positive educational achievement and success.
Schoolmobil employs qualified and experienced teachers, instructors and coaches to deliver a varied curriculum to the pupils. Our staff members are qualified at least to Degree level. The minimum qualification standard we accept for teachers is A’Levels with teaching experience.
We also have classroom assistants and learning support workers who are there to support pupils with specific needs or if a teacher has more than three pupils in a classroom.
The Youth workers provide tailor-made social skills courses to equip young people with a wide variety of life skills. Our social skills package is currently under development.
